Stop Houston Gangs teams up with Crime Stoppers

HOUSTON, TX – A local initiative including help from the FBI is kicking the crud out of gang crime.

Since the launch of in 2010, 606 people have been arrested.

Fancy digital billboards are now up which feature a Fugitive of the Week. 35 of those bad dudes have been booked.

Area law enforcement is giving credit to the public.

Captain Dale Brown with HPD said, “We’re just really here to thank our citizens, to thank them for the support that they provide us and also to tell ya we’re not done yet.”

And they need your help.

Stop Houston Gangs is now partnering with Crime Stoppers. You know how it goes — if you see something, say something. If it leads to an arrest, you could get $5,000.

You’ll also be helping the good guys get the bad guys off Houston streets.
