BURLINGTON, WI – Falling asleep at class or work is never a good idea. It’s also not a good idea to fall asleep at the scene of a crime.

Realtor Justin Mueller says it started off just like any other day. People got to the office around 8:30am and realized the office had been broken into so they called police. Little did they know that the suspect, Christopher White, was still inside.

Burlington Police say Christopher broke into the office, grabbed three computers, set them outside the front door and then went back inside for more. But all that work must’ve work him out, because he reportedly went to the basement, pulled the bear skin off the wall and fell asleep.

Christopher’s excuse? He told a judge that he had gone out drinking the night before and was just cold and tired. Well, it looks like Christopher is going to get what he wanted because there’s lots of time to rest in jail!
