JEFFERSON, OR – What do you do if you’ve got too much of something?! You get rid of it!

That`s what the city of Jefferson, Oregon is doing about their wild turkeys. They`re having a good ol` wild turkey shooting. It sounds gruesome, but they say the number of wild turkeys roaming around has gotten so bad, the city got permission from the state to shoot and kill `em. They`re especially going after the boys because they say they tend to be the most troubled.

It`s to no surprise the killing spree isn’t holding well with some. But the city says they aren`t killing all of them, just some. They hope the others catch a hint and make like a tree and leave.
