reeseATLANTA, GA – This Hollywood golden girl is known for being as sweet as Reese’s Pieces, but Reese fell to pieces when police pulled her and her hubby over for drunk driving in Atlanta.

TMZ has posted the dash cam video, and oh boy is it dramatic!

“I’m a U.S. citizen and I’m allowed to stand on American ground and ask any question I want to ask. You’d better not arrest me. Are you kidding me? I’m an American citizen.”

Witherspoon’s husband, Jim Toth, begs her to shut her trap.

“Reese, can you please calm down?”

“I have to obey your orders?”

“Yes you do.”

“No sir, I do not.”

Maybe she should have tried the ol’ ‘bend and snap’.

But this newly-brunette’s ‘legally blonde’ moment is a bit heavy on the “snap”.

“Do you know my name, sir?”

“I don’t need to know.”

“You don’t need to know my name?”

“Not quite yet. I’ll get that information.”

“Oh really? Ok. You’re about to find out who I am.”

Oh no she didn’t!

“I have no idea what I was saying that night, I saw him arresting my husband and I literally panicked, and I said all kinds of crazy things, I told him I was pregnant, I’m not pregnant!”

Reese issued a very classy apology for her trashy behavior, pleaded no contest and paid a fine.

Her husband pleaded guilty to DUI, avoiding time in the slammer.

Now, what did we learn from all this?

“When a police officer tells you to stay in the car, you stay in the car.”
