Thousands of CA inmates to move over valley fever scare

CENTRAL VALLEY, CA – It’s a pretty sick problem.

The guy in charge of healthcare in California prisons has ordered that thousands of inmates be removed from two Central Valley state prisons.  Valley Fever is to blame.

The potentially deadly fungus is causing a public health emergency. About 40%, or more than 3000 inmates, are going to have to move.

California already has a serious prison overcrowding problem.
