DES MOINES, WA – Custody battles can sometimes turn ugly, which is exactly what’s happening in Des Moines, Washington.

Prosecutors there believe 37-year-old Chad Holm gave his 5 and 7-year-old son’s cookies laced with meth, hoping to win custody of the boys from his ex-wife.

Ian Goodhew from the King County prosecutor’s office said the boys and their mother tested positive for meth, and the icing on the cookies had traces of methamphetamine, but there is no evidence that Holm was the culprit.

Even though they can’t pin the laced goodies on Holm, he is facing charges for perjury and falsifying a drug report.
