bangCUPERTINO, CA – It seems Apple wants to keep friends on Facebook from getting too friendly.

Just last week Apple introduced a spicy-little app called Bang With Friends. It gave users a discreet outlet for letting their Facebook friends know they’re interested in ‘hooking-up.” If their friend reciprocates, and is “down to bang” so to speak, it’s a done deal.

Just a week after the app was posted, however, Apple removed it.

Now, anyone looking to light a spark on the social-network is met with this heartbreaking message: “The item you’ve requested is not currently available in the U.S. store… We’re working with Apple to figure out exactly why.”

Apple hasn’t said the app was taken down because of it’s elementary-school inspired title, but it certainly couldn’t be based on principle, could it?

Because if that’s the case, Apple’s going to be pretty busy taking down similar apps like, Tinder, Grindr, Blendr, Tawkify, Singles Around Me, How About We, Tingle, Jazzed, Tagged, Plenty of Fish and Are You Interested…. just to name a few!
