Flight delays, cancellations on the rise

USA – It’s not a place anyone wants to spend more time.

Airports can be a little irritating, and this won’t make frequent flyers feel any better. The Transportation Department says delayed arrivals are up, and cancellations are too.

A new report says 79.8% of flights landed within fourteen minutes of scheduled-time in March 2013.  82.2% did the year before. Despite that, the report also says fewer folks are complaining.

Hawaiian Airlines and Virgin America are reportedly the most on-time. Express Jet and JetBlue are the worst.
