San Antonio wasn’t the only place dealing with deadly flooding this weekend.

Nine people were killed when water inundated an illegal coal mine in an Eastern China province, while another person remains missing.

In Northwestern China, seven people, including three children, were killed when flooding caused a landslide that buried a dormitory owned by another coal mine.

Even though the two accidents are unrelated, it’s kind of weird they’re both related to flooding and coal mines.

A deadly trend none the less, and one that needs to quickly loses steam.
