Search efforts continue and the clean-up has begun after nearly ten inches of rain fell in San Antonio on Saturday causing flash flooding throughout the city.

One woman trapped in her car got on the roof and was swept away by floodwaters.  Another woman was in the process of being rescued from her car when she was swept away. Both women died.

The search is now on for a 17-year-old who was swept away as he tried to cross Cibolo Creek.

The only silver-lining to this dark cloud, is the rain.

While treacherous for residents, we’ll know in a few weeks if it helped the drought-stricken region.
