wheelLONDON – It’s a past time many of us remember – riding our bikes. For years, not much has changed. But a man in London invented some new wheels.

Traditional wheels are called spokes. They have all the workings of the intertwined metal. But these new wheels have loops instead of metal. The inventor, Sam Pearce, wanted a smoother ride.

He says the technology works because the loop springs allow the rim to move relative to the hub in all directions and it isolates the road noise and makes for a smoother ride.
