Authorities saw there were markings on the sea lion, indicting she had been captured before. Sea World officials say she was rescued last March from another area. When officials found her back then, she was also malnourished and dehydrated. After months of rehabilitation, she was released back into the ocean.
But the sea lion somehow made it back to land. But believe it or not, Sea World Officials say sea lions escaping the waters isn’t that uncommon.
The sea lion was going to be treated again and eventually released back into the water.
