fireCOLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Thousands of people in Colorado have been forced from their homes because of the ferocious wildfires taking over the state.

Some had just minutes to evacuate before flames consumed their homes.

Firefighters are working around the clock. The biggest fire burning right now is the Black Forest fire, taking the biggest toll on land and resources. Heavy winds aren’t helping either.

At least 15,000 acres have burned so far and more than 300 homes have been destroyed.

Rocky times in the Rocky Mountain state.
