If you collect unemployment benefits in the state of Texas, you should probably “just say no”.

Governor Rick Perry signed a new law that creates a drug-testing program for some people who collect unemployment benefits because he says the system is supposed to help folks going through a difficult period of their lives.

So applicants who give “suspicious” answers on questionnaires may have to take a drug test and if they fail, they’d lose their benefits.
