Folks in Singapore are dealing with some serious smog these days.

The pollution index over there hit an all-time high on Friday, which means the air is pretty hazardous.

So what’s causing all that nastiness?

Officials said it’s smoke from forest fires in neighboring Indonesia which have been burning for a week.

Most people are staying indoors but those who do have to venture out are encouraged to wear masks until the haze blows over and residents can once again breathe easy.
