Gotta love being a bridesmaid. First you have to worry about wearing a hideous dress and now you have to worry about taking it all off at a bachelorette party.

There’s a new trend among bachelorette parties…Sexy Boudoir Parties. Women are getting naked and posing with the bride.

“It was all about bonding and having fun with my friends,” one bride-to-be, posing on a shoot with her close friends, told the New York Post. “We all felt incredibly happy and beautiful. It was great because the whole point was to feel good about ourselves.”

You’re stripping away clothes and cash from your wallet.

At a cost of around $400 to $500 a person per session, bachelorette parties get hair and makeup makeovers and the chance to play dress-up together in lingerie. The momentary models get solo shots in front of the camera as well as group shots, where the friends come together for an unlikely keepsake.

And what are you going to do with that keepsake exactly? Put it in a frame on the mantel? Share it with your hubby? I can think of a lot better ways to bond with my BFFs. And if you don’t already feel comfortable in your own skin and empowered, you surely shouldn’t be getting married. So when it comes to sexy bachelorette boudoir parties…I say, I DON’T.

And that’s today’s helping of the Online Dish with Maggie.
