Summer camp is supposed to be fun, not life threatening.

But for three kids at a Jewish summer camp in Indianapolis that’s exactly what happened.

Lightning struck the camp.

The crazy thing is residents say the weather wasn’t even that bad.

“The sky didn’t even get dark, really, just some clouds, but it wasn’t like when it’s black and you go to the basement,” said Carmen Siegel, who lives nears the camp.

Counselors sprang into action. Cops say their efforts most likely saved the kids’ lives.

Two were said to be in stable condition, one was critical.

Here’s to a speedy recovery so these kids can get back to being kids.
