cocaHOUSTON, TX – Coca-Cola is finding a way to go green. They’ve rolled out new hybrid vehicles.

“Coca-Cola has the largest hybrid fleet in the North America, and about 38 in the Houston market,’ said Pat Vincik, fleet supervisor for the Houston market. ‘The main reason is to lower the carbon footprint, to reduce emissions and go green.”

The company is already seeing the benefits. They say they’re seeing a 30% savings in fuel and reduced emissions on the vehicles.

Coca-Cola says they’re also training drivers with online courses. The courses teach the drivers how to accelerate and drive the vehicle in order to get the most benefit from them.
