“We’re going to win 2,3,4,5 6, 7 championships Lucky number seven..”

Good thing this Rockets fan has realistic expectations after Houston signed free agent Dwight Howard and officially introduced him to the fans.

“And we’re going to try and bring a championship here. Thanks.”

A big marquee was revealed – the “Legacy of Bigs.”

Clyde Drexler says, “I see James Harden and Dwight as very similar to Hakeem and I. They can dominate on both ends of the court every single night , and so I was hoping he make a decision to come to Houston because I knew it would be a great decision for him personally and professionally.”

The legends of Rockets’ lore came out to welcome Dwight Howard to the Bayou City. In fact, Houston is now H-town.

It certainly felt like Howard’s town as he was showered with well wishes, but he is just happy to move forward and put the past couple of years behind him.

“Thrioughout the last two years, I’ve really had to develop a thick skin which is going to really help me this season and the rest of my career.”

General manager Daryl Morey and owner Les Alexander were all smiles.
Alexanders says, “I mean we got the best big man in basketball and I think one of the top five players in basketball without giving up anything, just making the team stronger.”

General Manager Daryl Morey says, “I’ve been kicked down to assistant general manager. They are GM Dwight and GM James,

Howard summed up what everyone is now feeling.

“If we really dedicate ourselves and sacrifice everything we got, you know for a championship, at the end of the season we should be holding up the trophy.”
