crashCOLUMBUS, IN – It’s been a bumpy ride for airplanes lately. In the wake of a few commercial crashes, a few smaller aircraft’s are making headlines.

A plane crashed into a house, and bursts into flames in Columbus, Indiana.

Emergency crews along with regular Joe’s rushed to the scene to help out.

“His shirt was on fire I think and he had injuries on his head. We just helped — got some towels and there were others who were helping,” said one witness.

Two men were in the plane. Both survived the crash, though one is seriously injured.

Wish we could say the same for Amarillo, Texas. One person died after a plane crashed near several mobile homes. According to the Amarillo Globe-News, the pilot reported having engine problems shortly after takeoff, and later crashed. No word yet on the victim’s identity, however, witnesses say they saw a man trapped inside the plane.

We prefer to see “Skyfall” in the movies, not in real life.
