DETROIT, MICHIGAN – There’s a chance that Michigan’s dealing with a serial killer, kind of. Detroit police are looking for what they’re calling a serial attacker, after finding a third woman who had been set on fire and left for dead, in a matter of a few weeks.

The first victim was a 37 year old woman, found July 26th under a couch in a field, moaning in pain.

Cops say she’d been beaten, had burn marks on her body, and was barely alive. Just 24 hours later a second woman, believed to be in her 20’s or 30’s, was found in the same condition. Both women are lucky to be alive, but cops knew they were looking for the same suspect or suspects in all three cases. They’re hoping rape kits and DNA will help track down whoever is responsible.

Let’s hope so, before this serial attacker strikes again.
