SAN DIEGO, CA – There are few answers, but lots of questions, and now the search is on for James DiMaggio.

Police believe DiMaggio killed his friend, 42-year-old Christina Anderson. They found her body after they put out flames at DiMaggio’s home in San Diego. Still missing are Christina’s two children, her 8-year-old son Ethan and her 16-year-old daughter Hannah.

Police think DiMaggio kidnapped them, but it may be too late for Ethan. A child’s remains were also found with Christina’s body, but they haven’t been positively identified.

The children’s dad, Brett Anderson, made an emotional plea to DiMaggio asking him to return his daughter safely.

All this extends beyond California’s borders. An Amber Alert was issued in Oregon and Washington after a possible sighting of DiMaggio’s car.

Police think he might try heading to Texas or Canada, which means this is now an international manhunt.
