You gotta love the Texas tax free weekend but like all good things, it must comes to an end.

“It’s super busy! I wanna go shopping instead of working.”

“I’m gonna get some shoes, I mean, with the tax, it’s going to be cheaper so..”

The tax free weekend was originally set for August 16th through the 18th, but was changed by the Texas Legislature in hopes to give parents a break when buying for back to school.

“We’re here to get him school clothes and school supplies.”

Over at Memorial City Mall, they’re having extended hours to help people get the most of this opportunity.

“There seems to be some very good sales plus no sales tax, makes it a real bargain.”

And for those not shopping back to school, it’s kind of like Black Friday weekend, except a lot less hostile.
