HOUSTON, TX – Houston police say a Dodge Charger charged into this house off of Kingsbury and Cavanaugh in southeast Houston.

“We are just thankful for our lives,” said Emerson Knox, who was at the home during the crash.

It went down during a police chase. Police say the family was home at the time, but luckily, no one was hurt.

“I was in the back yard feeding the dogs. And my friend, the homeowner, was going in the house,’ Knox explained. ‘I saw the black Charger or Challenger, whatever it was, hit the curb, hit the stop sign, and he went into my friend’s house.”

But it seems that didn’t stop the suspects in the Dodge from dodging police. HPD says a guy and a woman jumped out the car and ran, but the woman was caught a short time later.

“I just hope justice be served.”

Now it’s just a matter of time before the suspects get a crash course in the law.
