DUNCAN, OK – An Oklahoma community is in shock after a man was gunned down in Duncan. The suspects are a 15, 16, and 17-year-old.

Police say the teens shot 22-year-old Christopher Lane in the back and sped away in their car.

The grief for Christopher is extending way beyond Oklahoma. He was from Melbourne, Australia and was in the U.S. attending Oklahoma’s East Central University on a baseball scholarship.

Back home, his family is struggling to come to terms with what happened.

Perhaps the most shocking thing is the teens’ motive. The Duncan Police Chief says the teens told them they were simply bored and wanted someone to kill.

Police say they may have also saved someone else`s life because the trio had planned to carry out a second killing on the same night, but were caught by police and arrested.

It’s hard to imagine what would drive anyone to kill, but a thrill kill out of boredom is even harder to comprehend.
