College Station, TX –Aggies fans came out in full force to meet their 2013 squad. “I got here at 7 am”. The long line snaked outside the McFferrin Athletic Venter. Aggie fan Judson Quicksall says, “Basically just been making predictions about the season. Figuring out which players are going to be good. Who’s going to be up and down in the SEC. Wondering how long we’re going to have to stand in line.” Aggie fan Darryell Drury adds, “Just talking to everybody. Just make friends with everybody.” None of them seemed too concerned about the NCAA investigation into Johnny Manziel. Aggie fan Geoff Spahn says, “They’ll find out what they find out. Me worrying about it and anyone else worrying about it is not going to change anything.” Fans had to follow a strict policy when it came to autographs and pictures. No poses and only the picture card provided could be signed. Aggie fan Bob Lietz says, “I understand one item but I wish it was one item that you could bring. I brought some other stuff to get signed but now I can’t get it signed.” Aggies fans are still fully behind Johnny football and they hope that number two can win his second straight Heisman and bring college station a national championship. We just hope Manziel doesn’t end up with any more autograph snafus.
