DINWIDDIE COUNTY, VA – About 4,000 people dressed in everything from thongs to super-hero costumes to dodge 1,000 pound bulls as they sprinted down a quarter mile dirt track in rural Virginia’s version of the running of the bulls.

All participants paid 30 bucks to run for their lives and signed a waiver form.

No one was gored by a bull like this year in Spain; but two people were taken to the hospital after getting trampled by fellow runners.

While this may have been the first bull run in the U.S., it won’t be the last.

Bulls will be on parade here in December at Royal Purple Raceway just outside of Baytown will host the Houston bull run.
