GALVESTON, TX – It took two hours for a Federal jury in Galveston to convict a 72-year-old man on child pornography charges.

Pearland cops found at least 2,000 videos and 100,000 images of child porn on David Roetcisoender’s computer’s and hard drives.

Roetcisoender admitted he has been downloading and watching child porn since the 1990s.

He was also busted on distributing images. That’s something he denies doing intentionally.

He was still found guilty on all charges and faces up to 50 years in prison.

Even if he outlives his sentence, he will likely never go unsupervised.

Roetcisoender will learn his fate in November.

Until then, he remains locked up and away from innocent children.
