WAYNE, NJ – Four college football players are scoring major points off the field after a shopping trip in Wayne, New Jersey.

Sunday night the William Paterson University students made a stop at Buddy’s Small Lots to get stuff for their dorm rooms.

But when they walked inside no one was there.

Instead of just intercepting the goods and running off they paid for everything, even adding the tax.

Well no good deed goes unnoticed; Buddy’s tracked down the players and found them on the gridiron.

They ended up scoring a fifty dollar shopping spree as a thank you.

The players are speechless that a four dollar purchase of batteries and an audio cable has generated national attention.
