President Obama Addresses the Situation in Syria

Washington, D.C. – It has been more than a week since an alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria killed more than one thousand people. The attack has left Americans wondering what actions the United States will take against Syria in response to the deadly chemical weapons attack.

Saturday, after meeting with his top administration, President Obama announced that he is ready to give the order to strike. Even though President Obama has the authority to set the wheels in motion, he is going to wait until Congress returns from recess to vote on the issue.

President Obama says he knows that a war is not the most popular option, but something has to be done to hold those accountable for their actions. Cause while the cost of war may be high, you cannot put a price tag on a life.
