CULLMAN COUNTY, AL – High school rivalries are nothing new. But in Alabama, it was a whole new ball game when rival coaches got in on the action.

Check out this brawl after Cullman High School’s 13-10 victory against their rival, Walker High.

Coaches getting beaten and bloodied. Guess they put the “red” in redneck, huh?

Walker lost more than just the game. The school’s head football coach, John Holladay, has been suspended with pay.

Meanwhile, Cullman’s school board president told the Cullman Times that: “There is no need to reprimand our coaches and players…” adding: “They acted with class and dignity during the situation.”

Class and dignity? No matter who threw the first punch, these high school coaches need to learn a lesson in sportsmanship.
