PONTIAC, MI – Pulling a switch-a-roo with a magic card trick is harmless. But pulling a switch-a-roo with a house address can turn out messy.

The wrong house in one Michigan neighborhood was demolished. Officials say the man who owned the house that was supposed to get demolished wanted to save the house, so he switched the address numbers with the house next door.

The man who owns the house that accidentally got torn down wasn’t living there, but was planning on renting it out. But neighbors are actually happy about it, though. They say the house that got torn down by accident was an eye-sore.

Demolition crews eventually got it right. They went back the following day and tore down the right house.
