LAKE MARY, FL – Call us crazy, call us kooky, just don’t call us late for dinner, but does anyone else think George and Shellie Zimmerman are starting to look like George and Martha from ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’

Lake Mary, Fla., cops ended up at the home of George Zimmerman’s father-in-law Monday after Zimmerman’s estranged wife Shellie called 911 and said he was threatening them with a gun.

“He’s in his car and he continuously has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying ‘step closer’. He’s just threatening all of us with his firearm.”

But police said they didn’t find a weapon.

“We don’t know that there’s even a weapon here.  None of that, none of that is accurate,” said Zachary Hudson of the Lake Mary police department.

Cops also said they could find no evidence Zimmerman assaulted his father-in-law or broke any laws.

“I think the divorce itself is a fall out from the whole case and is now showing up with people acting inappropriately,” said Mark O’Mara, George Zimmerman’s attorney.

Cops say they won’t be filing any charges against Zimmerman.

Sadly, we probably haven’t seen the last of this train wreck.
