12manCOLLEGE STATION, TX – We’ve all heard of pricey plates at a restaurant, but the price for a specialty license plate here in the Lone Star State takes the cake.

Aggie fan, and Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee shelled out $115,000 for the “12THMAN” plate, blowing the previous $25,000 “HOUSTON” plate record outta the water.

And get this, Buzbee isn’t even going to keep it!

He said he’s going to give it away to an Iraqi war veteran.

Buzbee will get the plate during Saturday’s A&M, Alabama game, a much anticipated game that will no doubt fill Kyle Field with waves of maroon and white.

But students who have access to the sold-out game are being warned not to sell their hot tickets for profit.

In a letter this week, University officials reminded students that if they get caught selling the tickets, which are going from $100 to $40,000 on Craigslist, they could lose their sports privileges for the rest of their A&M University career.

A steep price to pay for some quick cash.
