J.K. Rowling inks deal for Harry Potter spin-off

HOLLYWOOD, CA – It’s been two years since the wizarding world of Harry Potter came to an end. Well get your wands out from the cupboard, because the school of wizardery is coming back!

Warner Brothers is pairing up with Harry Potter writer J.K. Rowling to create a whole new movie franchise. Though the movies will focus on Hogwarts, you won’t see Harry, Hermione or any of your other favorite characters. This new venture will center around Rowling’s book entitled ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.’

The story will begin in New York City 70 years before Potter’s storyline began. It’s not clear just how many movies will be made, but you can beat Rowling will keep us entertained for at least a few years.
