SAN MARCOS, TX – You know how it goes in baseball; three strikes and you’re out! But this was no game of baseball, and it was way more than three strikes.

A San Marcos woman, Rose Ann Davidson, is going to spend the rest of her life behind bars after getting her 6th DWI.

Hays County Investigators say Davidson was pulled over in July 2012 on Interstate 35 after an officer noticed she was swerving. The officer also noticed she had quite a rap sheet, with DWI convictions dating back to 1996.

Now whether it’s a justified sentence can be up for debate. What isn’t debatable is the fact that she broke the law six times.

Perhaps the only silver lining is that she was lucky enough not to take anyone else’s life.
