MERCURY – In Hollywood, we see stars. And while looking out at the stars (in space, that is), sometimes we catch a glimpse of Hollywood.

NASA’s Messenger probe, which headed out for Mercury in 2004, spotted something that looks like Hans Solo trapped in carbonite.

The photo was taken in July of 2011, but was only just released. This isn’t Mercury’s first time to show off, either. A spider, a giant ‘X’, a skull and crossbones, snowmen, cookie monster and even Mickey Mouse have made cameos on Mercury.

First Mickey and now Han Solo, huh? Wonder if Disney is going to slap mercury with a Cease and Desist order?
