PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN – The All Saints Church in Peshawar, Pakistan has been a beacon of Christian worship for more than 130 years. On Sunday it became a backdrop for fear and lives lost.

More than 600 people were pouring out of the church when two-suicide bombers walked into the crowd. Chaos erupted and when the smoke cleared, 81-people were dead and another 140 were injured. Dozens of them women and children.

The Pakistani Taliban has proudly taken credit for the worst attack on Christians in the country’s history, saying, “We will continue our attacks on non-Muslims on Pakistani land.”
