AUSTIN, TX – Heavy rains in Central Texas over the weekend caused some major flash flooding.

Neighborhoods were evacuated and emergency crews were busy rescuing drivers trapped in their cars by the rising waters, including one woman who was six months pregnant.

“I tried to get out of my car, my door wouldn’t open, so my window rolled down. He came over to help me and I just crawled out my window and walked out,” said expecting mom Holly Whitmore.

The flooded roads were no joke.

Whitmore drove into the floodwater’s before emergency crews could put up the barriers.

We’re glad she’s okay; one heck of a story for this mother-to-be.
