HOUSTON, TX – The P-51 Mustang airplane known as the ‘Galveston Gal’ won’t be present at this weekend’s Wings Over Houston Airshow at Ellington Airport.

The plane crashed in shallow water in Galveston, tragically killing its two passengers, one of which was pilot Keith Hibbet.

The best thing to do for Wings Over Houston is go on with the show.

While hearts may be aching, the love of aviation will continue to soar during the show.
