WASHINGTON, DC – Elect Barack and Hillary!

A new book says the Obama campaign considered replacing Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton on the 2012 election ticket.  “Double Down: Game Change 2012,” was written by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann — the same guys that wrote the bestseller “Game Change 2008.”

Joe Biden once said, “Make no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America.” Clearly Biden is a fan of Hillary, but no word if Biden knew about the talks to replace him when he was singing her praises. Probably not.

According to reviews, the book isn’t as juicy as its predecessor but did reveal the hunt for Romney’s VP candidate was dubbed “Project Goldfish.” Congressman Paul Ryan’s code name was “Fish-con-sin.”  Senator Marco Rubio was “Pescado,” and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was “Pufferfish.”
Time will tell if “Pufferfish” has the last laugh in 2016.
