Harlem Globetrotter sets Guinness world record for longest shot

PHOENIX, AZ – Harlem Globetrotters rookie “Thunder Law” drilled a shot from 109 feet 9 inches, at U.S. Airways arena in Phoenix  to set a new Guinness World Records record for longest basketball shot.

And 23-year-old Law didn’t just break the record, he shattered it.

The previous record was 104 feet 7 inches.

It was set in 2011 by Elan Buller, a physical education teacher at Campbell Hall school in North Hollywood.
