TORONTO, CANADA – We thought we had seen it all. Now we’re watching Toronto Mayor Rob Ford get stripped of his power, fortunately.

After numerous videos, admissions of smoking crack and awkward run ins with the media; it seems crazy that Ford would still have a job. The Toronto City Council is working on that, however.

The Council voted to strip Ford of most of his powers.

Next up on the agenda?

Toronto Council members will work on moving the deputy mayor into Ford’s position until the 2014 election. That means Rob still holds the mayor’s title; but doesn’t have any real ‘political power.’

Seeing how Ford hasn’t not done too well with the whole “will-power” thing; this is probably a step in the right direction.
