RIGA, LATVIA – A roof collapse at a supermarket turns deadly. It happened Thursday in Northern Europe in Latvia’s capital city of Riga. Emergency workers are still searching for survivors after the roof at a grocery store gave way, and building materials being stored in the roof could be to blame. 51 people have been reported dead so far, three of them firefighters, and up to seven others could still be trapped. Sadly, Latvia’s national news agency reports this is Latvia’s deadliest accident to date.
