HOUSTON, TX – Brothers don’t always get along, but what happened in north Houston was more than just a little scratch. Police say a 16-year-old decided to pick a fight with his mom and his brother, who was getting ready for work.

“The security guard, who was getting ready for work, came out in uniform with his duty weapon and challenged the 16-year-old,” said Sgt. Robert Musick, with the Houston Police Department. “The 16-year-old charged the security guard, where they struggled over the gun. And, during the struggle, there was one shot fired and the 16-year-old was shot in the face.”

We’re told the teen was taken to a hospital. And, cops say he’s expected to be OK. But, we’re not sure the same can be said about the two brothers’ relationship.
