EDMOND, OK – It’s the time of year for special deliveries, and a family in Edmond, Oklahoma experienced a “special delivery” alright!

Colin and Ealisha Johnson’s new baby, Kingsley, showed up ten days early, on the side of the road.

It all happened as Colin was speeding to the hospital, with Ealisha in advanced labor. A few local detectives noticed his erratic driving, so they pulled him over. That encounter initiated a police escort to the hospital, but baby Kingsley didn’t want to wait.

“I pulled over and everything happened,” said Colin.

The cops used their experience as dads in the delivery room to help, and just like a Hallmark holiday special, this drama had a happy ending.

Baby Kingsley, mom and dad are all well, and grateful.
