SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Indiana Pacers had their own ‘Planes, Trains & Automobiles’ experience Thursday, as they tried to leave Salt Lake City for San Antonio.

A thick fog forced the Pacers to land in Houston.

From there, things went from bad to worse, as tweeted by the team’s media director, David Benner

“Busing to San Antonio and bus breaks down. I miss 17 hours to Asia.”

Their bus broke down on the side of I-10, but a nearby What-A-Burger kept their hopes high.

“May push bus to What-A-Burger. Desperate times.”

Little did the team know, things were about to get even more desperate. The restaurant was closed for construction.

If that didn’t want to make them punch somebody’s lights out, the defroster on the bus stopped working, making it nearly impossible for the driver to see the road ahead.

Hours later, the team finally made it to the hotel.

Well, Mr. Benner, if that media relations job doesn’t work out, you can always start writing your screenplay:
