NEW YORK CITY – Talk about expensive taste! This painting right here just sold for a record $46 million at a Sotheby’s auction! It’s Norman Rockwell’s painting “Saving Grace”.

It features a boy praying with an elderly woman in a crowded restaurant. It originally appeared on the cover of the thanksgiving issue of the Saturday Evening Post in 1951.

The selling price was nearly three times higher than the previous auction record for the late artist.
