PACHUCA, MEXICO – Mexico has got quite the problem on its hands. Five adults and one teen are being treated for possible radiation poisoning after coming in contact with cobalt-60.

All the group did was touch the container the radioactice material is being held in — but that’s all it takes!

This all comes after the truck that was transporting the cobalt-60 was stolen last week in Tepojaco. Mexican authorities say they believe the thieves didn’t know what the truck was carrying when they hijacked it.

The six being treated are not believed to have any connection to the robbery.

The actual bad guys will likely turn up at a hospital suffering from radiation poison symptoms.

For now, the dangerous substance is being guarded until authorities can figure out how to transport it safely to a waste storage.

What a mess.
