Nearly 2 million social media passwords hacked

HOUSTON, TX – Nearly two million usernames and passwords were stolen by hackers for popular sites like Facebook, Google and Twitter.

The server controlled by the hackers was located in the Netherlands.

Some of the social media sites have already disabled the passwords of the users affected by the hack.

Avoid using easy-to-guess words, especially words associated with you, when creating a new password.
